Taking Gundam out of the Universal Century is a difficult thing to do well. Views are mixed about series such as Gundam Wing and Gundam SEED. They’re series some people may enjoy, but some people may despise, and Gundam 00 is no different.

Time Enforcer Anubis here with a new game review!
Section 8 has an ambitious plan going for it. It attempted to bring Tribes 2-style gameplay into the modern era of gaming, and gameplay-wise, did so fairly well.
Sadly, however, it failed to really take off.
Section 8 developer TimeGate Studios wasn’t going to be discouraged so easily, however. They recently tried again with a sequel, Section 8: Prejudice, released on the Xbox Live Arcade and PC, and soon coming to PSN.

Humanity is under siege from an unstoppable threat. Conventional weaponry doesn’t work against them, nor does diplomacy or surrender. In the midst of the conflict, a special weapon is developed. Usable only by specially-gifted young people, this new weapon is the only way to fight back against the powerful enemy threat. These youths now find themselves thrust into a military conflict as the last, best hope for humanity. Countering the enemy on all fronts, these heroic young people must band together and rely on each other to defeat the enemy, for the fate of the entire world rest on their shoulders.

While I do enjoy the Halos and the Call of Dutys of the gaming world, I can certainly agree that, in the current gaming climate, they aren’t the most original shooters, but they’re fun to play and I can always find people to play with.
However, as much fun as I have playing Reach of Black Ops, I look to a past game whenever I desire a truly unique FPS experience.
That game is Tribes 2.

There’s one anime that’s universally held up on a pedestal above many others.
It’s referenced whenever an example of an English dub better than the original Japanese is needed.
It’s been re-run on Adult Swim countless times since the block first began.
It’s brought up whenever the Anti-Moé Brigade calls for a stop to moé and a “return” to “better” anime.
The anime is Cowboy Bebop, and I’m sick and tired of hearing about it.
