Personnel Reconnaissance: Darjeeling

One of the really strong points about Girls und Panzer is the side characters. Though they (unfortunately) don’t get nearly as much screentime as the main characters, they each have their own charm and shine in their own way.

Today, I’ll be taking a look at one of these side characters: Commander for the St. Gloriana team, Darjeeling.

Personnel Reconnaissance: C.C.

Code Geass is one of my favorite anime, and as with all of my favorite anime, the characters are a big part of what made the show for me. Code Geass had a lot of characters, most of which were very well-implemented, but one in particular stands out to me as possibly one of my favorite characters.

That character is C.C.

Personnel Reconnaissance: Sora Kasugano

Yosuga no Sora helped put arc-based harem anime on the map, with its branching episode structure. Its four heroines each have very well-done, fleshed-out paths, and bring the branching style of eroge to anime.

Sora Kasugano is the twin sister of main character Haruka Kasugano. Though she’s spoiled, jealous, and possessive, she became my favorite character as I watched the series.

Personnel Reconnaissance: Kotonoha Katsura

School Days is a particularly infamous series. Based off of an eroge, the anime is notorious for its bad ending, as well as how it turns the harem genre completely on its head. This makes for particularly compelling characters to be both loved and hated.

Of the School Days characters, there was one in particular that caught my attention, and not from hatred, like many of the other characters in School Days.

That character is Kotonoha Katsura.

Personnel Reconnaissance: Selnia Iori Flameheart

As far as ecchi anime goes, Ladies Versus Butlers! is about as good as it gets: Pure romance-comedy with a heavy dose of ecchi that doesn’t try to be anything other than an ecchi romance-comedy.

LvB is also special for another reason. It introduced a character that stuck with me quicker than most characters from other shows in the same genre.

That character is one Miss Selnia Iori Flameheart
